"How dare you, Yoochun,"
Changmin turned around, his eyes even, his mouth slightly tilted. Anger marred his face, Yoochun took a step back.
"I'm sorry Changmin..." Yoochun started only to get cut off.
"Sorry for what, Yoochun? I bet you would be damn happy if I got married and got out of your hair so you could go look for hot girls all by yourself." Changmin practically spat back at him.
"You had not right to set me up, I specifically told you when we met in Paris that marriage or dating someone was not on my list of things to do here."
"You have no right to scorn me!" Changmin said furiously.
"Scorn? I was arranging your marriage!"
"That was exactly why I went to Paris, to avoid the whole matchmaking affair that my mother would have made me go through." Changmin's remained unmoving. Yoochun could tell he was furious.
"I really don't get it, is it a family’s duty to pester one of their children until he gets married?" Changmin's eyes shined with unshed tears. "Is life's whole purpose to get married? Do I really need someone in my life for it to be complete?"
"What are you getting at?" Yoochun said starting to get slightly angry. He leaned next to the body mirror.
"You! Yoochun," Changmin felt a tear come out. "I'm not over Yunho yet, and you want me to get married again?"
"I trusted you, Yoochun. You were one of the people that I could talk to without hounding me for not being in a relationship." Changmin felt as if a Yoochun just punched him. He wanted Yoochun to punch him; he wanted this to get violent. He wanted to take the fact that Yoochun betrayed his trust, betrayed the very ideals that Changmin held close to him ever since Yunho died.
"It’s a small tiny little thing," Yoochun started.
"A small thing? Yoochun, This is my life! Not everything is a joke," Changmin said.
"So what now? Do we sit down and fight or something?" Yoochun yelled at Changmin.
"Forget it. You wouldn't understand what I'm trying to say," Changmin said and turned to walk around Yoochun to the door.
Yoochun grabbed Changmin's arm to prevent him from moving. "... I thought that you and Junsu–"
"What you thought Junsu and I? How could you set me up? Couldn't you have asked what I wanted?" Changmin said, two trails of tears running down his cheeks.
"I only wanted to see you happy!" Yoochun yelled back.
"And you thought I would be happy with a person like Junsu?" Changmin yelled back.
"Would you be happy if you were with a guy like me?" Yoochun yelled back.
Changmin fell silent.
"Why are you quiet now?" Yoochun pointed out.
Changmin stared at him for a second before wiping his cheeks and walking around Yoochun.
"Just leave me alone Yoochun," Changmin whispered.
"Changmin..." Yoochun went to follow him.
"I said leave me alone!" Changmin yelled before leaving the bathroom. Yoochun pressed himself against the body mirror and slid down until he was sitting on the bathroom floor, uncaring what would happen to the suit he was wearing with his head in his hands.
Changmin walked down the steps of the club, his mind somewhere else.
"Changmin?" The voice broke through his revere. Changmin looked next to him and saw Junsu standing there, looking guilty. Before Changmin ignored him a walked a few more steps.
"Changmin, wait." Junsu said effectively stopping Changmin on the last step.
"Love is the problem, isn't it?" Junsu said smiling softly. "Yoochun was right, two people like you two can never be just friends. Because love always comes in the way."
Changmin refused to look at Junsu as he continued to speak. "How long will you two hide your feelings for each other?"
"You expect Yoochun to make the first move? Forget it." Changmin didn't move or reply but Junsu was sure he was listening. "That fool doesn't even realize he is in love,"
Changmin looked down at the floor, "I know Yoochun more than anyone, and every year he forgets my birthday. But he remembers every little thing about you."
"If it isn't love, Changmin, then what is it?" Changmin turned to him silently. "He loves you, Changmin."
"True love is hard to come by, it only happens once in a lifetime," Junsu said looking at Jaejoong who was downing another drink, looking not the least bit tipsy.
"You’re lucky. You found that joy twice in your lifetime." Junsu patted Changmin's shoulder once before walking up the stairs. Changmin didn't move until his back hit the wall and he slid down.
The roof's gazebo sheltered the people that sat inside of it.
"Simple," a deep voice slurred out, "I'm not a nice guy,"
"Yup not a nice guy at all," one of the others said. The deep voiced man took a swing at him, but missed by two feet.
"You -hic- can't say that about Park -hic- Yoochun!" Yoochun said as he tumbled to the ground.
"But, I'm not a nice guy when it comes to relationships," Yoochun slurred out, He had about three times as many drinks as you would usually have. "A first class scoundrel,"
The club workers around him laughed, "He's just like us!"
"For the first time in my life, I wanted to do something good for a person, other than Junsu and my mother." Yoochun tipped to one side dangerously. "Did I do anything wrong?"
"No!" one of the workers said before tumbling on the ground to meet Yoochun,
"But I -hic- did!" Yoochun said.
"A big mistake -hic-, giant, huge, humongous, gargan -hic- tuan mistake."
"I broke his heart," Yoochun said his voice starting to sound sad, "It was as if tears welled up from his heart, and I made a grown man cry,"
"Very bad," One of the workers said in hard to understand, slurred Korean.
"When those tears streamed down here," Yoochun motioned to his cheek. "It hurt here," He moved his hand to above his heart.
"Why does it ache here?" Yoochun said his drunken voice starting to waver, "His eyes, his tears, and here is hurts?" Yoochun said, starting not to make sense.
"Is this any justice?" Yoochun asked as he was helped up onto the cement bench.
"No," The workers watching completely drunk as Yoochun rambled.
"This is justice, complete and utter justice. If the burden of both the tears and pain were his, what justice would that be?" Yoochun said, his voice getting softer.
"Were his tears and pain mine, then that would be justice," Yoochun's head swiveled over to look at the one worker that sat next to him. "Understood?"
"What am I talking about, you wouldn't understand." Yoochun said his eyes starting to fill up with tears.
"He said I don't understand, that I don't get anything, But If I don't get anything, how is it that I understand I'm no match for him?" Yoochun said a tear slid down his cheek as he placed his head in his hands and wiped it away quickly.
"Understand?" Yoochun said.
"Understood. He is coming for you,"
"He isn't coming for me. I'm a bad person to be coming after,"
"Behind you," The worker rephrased.
Yoochun turned around quickly, and saw Changmin standing there, holding an umbrella in his hand to shield himself from the torrential downpour outside the gazebo.
"Quick hide the glasses. You guys can't be drunk. But me -hic-, I can drink, 'cause I'm a bad person," Yoochun said, motioning to the workers sitting around him.
Changmin moved forward and placed a hand on Yoochun's shoulder, "Come on, Yoochun, Let's go home,"
"Changmin, I'm not a nice guy," Yoochun said before placing the glass down hard and swiveling around the bench.
"I know you’re not, Yoochun," Changmin replied back as he steadied Yoochun and placed the umbrella over his head.
Walking in the rain soaked streets, Changmin tried to keep Yoochun from falling and walking into schoolgirls who would merely squeal and try to get his autograph. Stepping outside of the umbrella, Changmin sighed and made him sit down so he didn't hurt anyone.
Looking over, Changmin saw an old couple by a vintage piano; the old man looked over at him and winked, like he knew something was going on. Changmin watched as the old man grinned and played the piano.
Constant companionship, Changmin wished something like that could happen to hopeless people like Yoochun and him.
Glancing at the bench, where Yoochun should've have been sitting, Changmin saw nothing. Turning around towards the street he didn't see anything but the steady downpour of rain.
Hearing footsteps behind him Changmin turned around to see Yoochun putting in three twenty dollar bills into the tin the old man had on his piano. The couple walked to the doorframe as Yoochun stumbled and almost fell on top of Changmin.
Grabbing him, Changmin steadied him and they walked closer to Yoochun's apartment. As they entered the apartment complex, after Yoochun drunkenly told Changmin where it was. They stumbled past the guard who waved them in the moment he saw Yoochun's face.
Getting into the elevator, Yoochun giggled as he almost fell on top of the panel, and started to press every button. Changmin reached out and grabbed his hand to stop him. Yoochun waved him off, using one hand to push Changmin away. Changmin sighed and reached around him and held him from behind keeping Yoochun's hands securely by his chest.
"Changmin," Yoochun turned slightly and whispered. Changmin could smell the alcohol in his breath, "Why are you doing this?"
Changmin felt the warm breath flow across his face. Yoochun leaned back, his face inches from Changmin's.
"Give me your keys Yoochun, you’re drunk." Changmin said as he looked at Yoochun's eyes and his lips alternatively. Letting go of Yoochun's hands, Changmin bent down and put his hands in Yoochun's pocket, feeling the coolness of the metal he started to pull his hand out when Yoochun stopped him by holding his wrist.
"I'm a bad person, Changmin." Yoochun said, his other hand on top of his heart. The elevator dinged as it reached the third floor. Changmin tried to pull his hand out.
"Yoochun, let me go," Changmin said desperately, he wanted to get away, to get some air.
"How can I let you go, when you've taken my heart," The last part Changmin didn't hear, as Yoochun's voice got soft. The elevator dinged when it reached the fifth floor. Changmin shook his head and mumbled something about drunken mumblings.
When they reached the seventh floor, Yoochun was silent and was leaning on the opposite side of the elevator, and Changmin stood watching the numbers light up.
Taking Yoochun by the arm, Changmin hulled him onto Yoochun's floor and inserted the keys into the hole. Turning the doorknob, Changmin turned around and grabbed Yoochun again and pulled him inside enough that he could close the door.
Changmin gasped as he turned around to face Yoochun, and was pushed against the closed, locked door. Yoochun's face was a mere few centimeters from his. Changmin found it hard to breath. Looking into Yoochun's brown eyes, he saw that they were darker, from the alcohol of course, Changmin said inwardly, simply trying to regain some mental processes.
But all that shattered when Changmin felt warm lips brushing against his tentatively, as if asking him to make the last leap. Changmin's mind was gone. Changmin leaped.
Changmin closed the distance and pulled Yoochun against his body. So close, one of Changmin's hands was tangled in Yoochun's hair, while the other was firmly on the tattoo on Yoochun's lower back.
They pulled away after what seemed like forever.
"Changmin, I'm a bad person," Yoochun said, his breath on Changmin's lips. "I'm a bad…" Changmin cut him with another kiss.
Changmin's last thought, before he stumbled with Yoochun into the bedroom was. This is a mistake. He's drunk. This is a mistake.
And for those who are seventeen and older : Part 9.5
A/N: Wow i think that was an intense chapter... and sorry to disappoint people but I am not able to write smut...
but if anyone wants to write me a smut scene... (wow that came out awkward) they are welcome to... :D
I Like writing a drunk Yoochun, though i know he holds his liquor well... cause i mean he goes drinking with Jaejoong, so just imagine that he had about twice the amount he usually has with Jaejoong.. cause he is smashed. completely.
And As always Comments, Critic, Random Babblings all appreciated
